I've spent the last 2 months hunched over my painting/crafting table drawing, painting, sewing together and quilting 2 quilts for my kids for Christmas. I also made 2 more for my grandsons.
My daughter's quilt Nightmare Before Christmas WAS a major nightmare. I call it the "QUILT THAT DIDN'T WANT TO BE MADE". I had to rush through the paint job, but that wasn't the hard part. It didn't want to be put together. I kept running out bobbin thread, the thread kept breaking, and the blocks didn't want to line up. I was NEVER so glad to be done with anything in my life, except my ex-husband. The true Nightmare Before Christmas was the making of it,

Commissions on Repairing Stuffed animals

I'm seriously thinking on taking commissions to repair other peoples' stuffed animals. I've repaired 2 of my own now. My teddy bear is almost 49 years old and looks great. My Easter bunny is about 42 and looks wonderful. Let me know what you think of the idea.
